Dirk and Monica McLelland have been married for sixteen years and have been the youth leaders at Richmond Road Baptist Church for the past thirteen years.  Monica also serves as the co-choir director.  Both are also teachers at Arkansas High School.  They have two children, Baylor and Josie, who are also a part of their youth group.  It is a true family affair.  Dirk was saved when he was twenty seven years old and Monica was saved when she was thirteen.  Both enjoy teaching.  It does not matter if they are teaching world history, English, or God’s word, they teach from the heart and they teach what is Biblical.  The Aftershock youth ministry exists to equip young people from all backgrounds to fully live out the love of Christ throughout the world.
